I am a PhD student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, studying health care accessibility for Latinxs in the Geography Department, using mixed methods.

I have a mixed teaching background, both through formal classroom instruction and informal instruction, and mentoring. I enjoy engaging in both.

Formally, I have worked as a teaching assistant at both my undergraduate institution, Texas A&M University, and at my graduate institution, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Informally, I have led educational projects for my peers, spoken to students in the K-12 classroom about geography and GIS, and created workshops and learning opportunities for all ages.

Most recently, I co-created/designed/organized the UIUC SESE Geosciences Camp for Middle School Girls, held August 12th and 13th.
